My Bradley

I wanted to post some pictures of my Brad on here...they're pretty old pictures as you can tell by our clothes. Now its warming up, though! In the picture with me in the turret, you can see how much room I have in there. The computer screen is right in front of me where I can see everyone's position, the weapon's sight is right in front of my bill and the commander's handstation (joystick) is right next to my right shoulder...you can see it a little bit. The other pictures are of the motorpool Bradley line and LT Harper with his gunner. In his picture you can see the size of the rounds we use (next to his gunner). You can also see one of the instructors up in the turret.

Pray for Jeremy Degnan

Jeremy is in the 1st Cav out of Ft. Hood. He went to NC State with me and is in Iraq right now as a Ordnance officer. He got married before he left to his high school sweetheart, Sarah. She works for the Wolfpack Club!!! Anyways, I wanted to drop y'all a name to pray for because it's definitely hard over there. Also, check out some of the pictures I got from him.

Who knows what's next?

So, 3d CAV has a lot of really cool guys in it. I've gotten to know everyone well, especially after our Bradley Gunnery. Now what does the Army do? They tell me and the other two new LTs that we're being reassigned to a different unit. I just got amendments to my orders today saying that on 1 May I'm going to 1st Infantry replacement at Ft. Hood. I could go somewhere in 4ID or maybe even 62nd EN BN...the same unit Dad was in. That could, however, work out to my advantage so I can get married and have a honeymoon. I can also get Platoon Leader time, and that is very good! I guess another good thing is that I can come back any time and see all the old guys. I really respect all the guys' hard work rebuilding this unit. It's weird to look back now at the video they made in Iraq because I downloaded it way before I got here. Now, I know some of these guys...kinda cool. I put new TX tags on my car so I'll put the pictures on here.
