Daniel Evans

What an amazing night! I was talking to Tripp on the phone about how I thought Daniel played a pretty darn good game, especially for his first starter. Tripp had been watching the game in his apartment's workout room, since that was the only place with free cable! He left and went back to his apartment when BC got the ball with a minute or two to play. I called him right back when I saw we got the ball - turnover on downs. I was giving him the play by play with 45 seconds left and he kept saying, "are you serious, are you serious?". When Daniel made the huge throw into the endzone, I started jumping up and down in my BOQ, yelling, "HE CAUGHT IT, HE CAUGHT IT, TOUCHDOWN!!!" One of the coolest games I've ever seen. Watching John and Daniel play and having Daniel throw the game winning touchdown on his first starter was awesome! I couldn't help but tear up watching them celebrate, and my friend in Ft. Hood said the same thing (He went to NC State too). It really made me miss NC State, my friends, and my home. They're all one and the same anyway. I really wish I could've been there watching it in real time. Well done Daniel... well done.
